Rye Coalition Album To (Finally) Be Released

Hallelujah! Rye Coalition and their filthy riff laden hard rock attack are back and bestowed once again upon deprived ears with their latest EP, Chariots On Fire. A prelude to the full length Curses which will follow in the spring of 2006, Chariots On Fire consists of four barn burning anthems adorned with sweetly sinister vocal hooks, thunder-clap drumming, bottom end that prevents cat fish from sleeping, and some searing guitar warfare. The final result is some righteous footstompin music akin to the spirit evoked by arena all stars from the days of old, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk, AC/DC, and KISS to name a few. It all makes sense being that Chariots On Fire was produced by Dave Grohl, a bona fide rock and roll legend who surely knows his way from one end of an arena to the other. In April, the guys will release their long-awaited album Curses, a collection of 12 brand spanking new songs also produced by Dr. G. An ass kicker of album by any mans standards, the band knows it has been a long time coming, and assure that it is well worth the wait.
