• The first thing you should know is that YES, Dave DOES read the Birthday Book. He has confirmed and told me many times that he reads them. So keep that in mind when you create something for him.

• Your entry can be any of the following: jpg, gif, tif, png (No WORD, PDF, EXCEL, PAINT etc.) Please ask around for help in converting your image to one of the accepted files. If you choose to just write a note (see below), just type your note up in an e mail and and send to me: lisa@sweetparamania.com

• Put Your Name and Location on your contribution, please!

• Please do not put your address (physical and/or email) or phone number on your entry. Dave is not going to contact you about your entry and I won't be responsible for the spam you'll receive from that personal information being broadcast over the Internet!

• Our deadline for your photoshopped happy birthday wishes will be Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 6pm Eastern Time (same time zone as New York City).

• I would prefer that you send in a greeting that is in the form of a photo with words over it etc.(or what I like to call 'Photoshopped' or Image Editing), but if you absolutely are not creative and have a hard time asking people for help in this area, I will accept just a written note to him. Please keep it to 50 words or less (no life-long stories please!) A simple message of Happy Birthday along with your name & location. If you're unsure, ask me. I'll help. There are many, many Image Editing apps out there. Google them! And make sure you size your entry appropriately - see below:

• The maximum size of your "photoshopped" image/entry should be no more than 800x600 pixels. Please size them before sending them in. All entries will be excluded or sent back for sizing if you do not meet the requirements.

• All submissions will become property of sweetparamania.com and that means that we can use them for future .. stuff. (Future birthday book promotions, examples, etc.)

• Once you send in your contribution, you will be sent a confirmation e mail back from me. If you do not receive a confirmation e mail within 24 hours, I did not receive your entry. Please re-send it.

• Please do not send your entries to me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or the latest cool iPhone app that you cannot pry your eyes away from. Only entries submitted via my e mail will be accepted.

• Please do not post your contributions/entries on social media until after Dave's birthday. The point is for it to be a big surprise for everyone, and when you post them on social media sites ahead of January 14, it sort of ruins the book. I know it's difficult to wait, but please try. If you plan on contributing to another online book, please make a separate greeting for this book.

• Most important: This is for Dave's Birthday. Any entries that mention personal life (family, children etc.) will be returned to you and you will be asked to either edit your contribution or not have it included. Do not photoshop photos of his family into your contribution. Just think of how you would like to be treated on YOUR birthday and what sort of greetings you would like to receive. Don't be creepy. BE RESPECTFUL of Dave.

• Even more important: Put your name and your location on your contribution.

• If you want to work on a group submission, that's ok too! If you want to do both, do both! There's no limit on how many wishes you can send in to Dave. As long as you remember that it's about his birthday.
